Hi Theo
I saw this composition of The Aftermath for the first time sometime around 2008, I always liked a lot the look of it but didn’t have idea how it got done, then after completing my studies in composition from the 3D Animation program and Visual Fx I was taking where I learned Eyeon Fusion, I found the public comp of the Aftermath, studied it, reproduced it, what it made me learn how to do 3D in Fusion that I just knew how to do in After Effects, and went ahead and created The Before of the Aftermath or the explosion. Using mostly Lightwave for dynamics and camera work and fusion for the rest.
It’ll be great if you can provide me with a feedback of what you think of my part of the comp.
Thanks a lot
